Přednáška bude pronesena v anglickém jazyce, v následné diskusi mohou účastníci vznášet dotazy taktéž v ruském a ukrajinském jazyce. Přednáška je součástí předmětu Přednášky hostujících profesorů, mohou se jí ale účastnit i další studenti a široká veřejnost.

Title: EU-Ukraine relations in 2021.

The state of play and future of the Ukraine’s European integration. Abstract: Since 2014 Ukraine implement Association Agreement with EU. Lecture will be devoted to the prospects of updating the Agreement in line with development of the EU acquis since 2012 and further steps toward economic integration and political association.

Ivan Nagornyak is an advisor to the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine. He holds a Ph.D. degree in political science from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Mr.Nagornyak is an author of several articles about the European neighborhood policy, Eastern partnership initiative, and the EU economic policy toward its Eastern neighbors. In 2017-2020 he has worked as a fellow for the EU-funded project „Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement“ – Association4U affiliated with the Governmental Office for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Since 2015 he is an active member and coordinator for economic policy at All-Ukrainian NGO “SD Platform”.
