St. Petersburg State University announces the International Research Competition devoted to life and legacy of Ivan Turgenev.
The Competition will be held in two categories:
- For bachelor and master students (the Students category);
- For young researchers aged 35 years and younger (the Young Researchers category).
Applications to the Competition will be accepted from students and academics of Russian and international institutions of higher education or other research centres. Applications may be submitted by individual authors or collaboration groups of up to three co-authors.
Entries to the Competition will include research papers written in Russian and focusing on the biography and legacy of Ivan Turgenev; including unpublished manuscripts and studies published from 1 January 2013 to 30 June 2018 (monogr aphs and/or monographs chapters; articles from periodicals and collections).
Applications are accepted via email culturalforum@spbu.ru not later than 30 August 2018.
The results of the Competition will be announced during the 7th St. Petersburg Cultural Forum (15-17 November 2018) and the Ivan Turgenev Bicentenary International Research and Practical Conference.
